Ich leide an Migräne und Fibromyalgie und habe im Februar an Covid erkrankt. Ich habe mich erholt, aber lange hatte Covid einen signifikanten Einfluss auf meine Mobilität. Die körperliche Anstrengung, mit dem Shop Schritt zu halten, war mir bereits teuer, und obwohl ich liebe, was ich hier tue, kann ich den körperlichen Schmerz, den es verursacht, nicht rechtfertigen, wenn Etsy den größten Teil meiner Gewinne mitnimmt.

Obwohl ich nach anderen Verkaufsplattformen gesucht habe, haben aktuelle Ereignisse dazu geführt, dass Speiseölknappheit und Preise in die Höhe geschnellt sind, was sich stark auf meine Margen und meine Fähigkeit, überhaupt Vorräte in die Hände zu bekommen, auswirkt.

Aufgrund dieser Umstände (und es bricht mir das Herz, es zuzugeben) weiß ich nicht, wann Stray Fables wieder beginnen wird. Ich bin unglaublich glücklich, dass ich einige erstaunliche Sachen habe, zu denen ich übergehe, aber es ändert nichts an der Tatsache, dass ich das liebe und es sehr vermissen werde. Vielen Dank an alle, die das Geschäft unterstützt haben.

I suffer from migraines and fibromyalgia, and got covid in February. I have been recovering, but long covid has had a significant impact on my mobility. The physical effort of keeping up with the shop was already costly to me, and while I love what I do here, I cannot justify the physical pain it causes if Etsy is taking most of my profits.

Though I have been looking into other sales platforms, current events have caused edible oil shortages and prices to spike, greatly impacting my margins and my ability to even get my hands on supplies.

Due to these circumstances (and it breaks my heart to admit it) I do not know when Stray Fables will open again. I am incredibly lucky that I have some amazing stuff I'm moving on to, but it doesn't change the fact that I love this and will miss it a great deal. Thanks so much to everyone who supported the business.
